The month of November is designated as the National Family Literacy Month® by The National Center for Family Literacy. The simple pleasure of reading as a family can have many beneficial consequences, including children’s improved school performance, and  economic, emotional and social development -- not to mention strengthening family bonds.

At Rochester Eye & Laser Center, our goal is to help adults achieve better vision, making it easy and fun to read – for their own enjoyment and that of their families. One method for improving vision is LASIK vision correction, which changes the shape of the cornea, correcting nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. With accurate corneal shaping, the eye will correctly focus light coming in on the retina (the back of the eye).
