KAMRA Near Vision Inlay - get rid of your readers!

KAMRA Near Vision Inlay is a great new technology for people who can see well, in middle-age, at distance, but are struggling with near vision.

This is a small inlay in the cornea, that we do under a normal LASIK flap, which we’ve been doing for 20 years. Once you’ve had the procedure, your eyes will settle out for good reading vision and some good intermediate vision as well.

The Rochester Eye and Laser Center has great procedures for the young up to middle-age, which is LASIK. We have great procedures for cataract patients, in the age group of 60+.

In the middle age range, there’s a group of patients that see very well at distance, but they’re having trouble with their readers. They have more and more readers around their house. And this is a procedure that can reduce, and in many cases, eliminate the need for readers.
