EVO Implantable Collamer Lens

NEW Myopia (nearsighted) Advanced Vision Correction from -3 to -20 diopters.

ICL surgery can enhance vision for those with moderate to severe nearsightedness (myopia) who are under 50, have healthy eyes, and do not have cataracts. It might be a suitable alternative if you've been advised that laser correction surgeries like LASIK or PRK aren't options due to your level of nearsightedness or keratoconus.

What Is ICL Surgery?

An implantable collamer lens (ICL) is a synthetic lens composed of plastic and a collagen known as collamer. During ICL surgery, Dr. Lindahl, an eye surgeon with specialized training, places the ICL permanently between your eye’s natural lens and the iris (the colored portion of your eye). The ICL collaborates with your natural lens to refract light onto the retina, resulting in improved vision clarity. ICL surgery is an outpatient procedure conducted in a sterile operating room to reduce the risk of infection. Both eyes are typically treated on the same day. In most instances, the need for glasses and/or contact lenses is eliminated after the surgery.
